How to navigate the schedule: The conference schedule is hosted by Sched.com which allows you to search within the schedule, and filter the schedule to show sessions only occurring on a certain day or time.
You can build your own schedule by creating a free account with Sched.com by selecting "SIGN UP" in the top right corner. To use the filter options, find the "Filter by Type" heading on the right side of the page and select one of the sessions. A navigation bar will appear, showing all of the tracks. Hovering over the "Schedule" tab at the top of the agenda will show the different ways to view the schedule.
Richmond Elementary School began a journey last year to convert our computer lab space into a makerspace. This presentation will share how we incorporated student voice into our makerspace journey (from design to implementation to continued use). We will share ideas for makerspace creation and our progress towards support for increased tinkering at our school. Students will engage you with their passion for making and share why a makerspace is an awesome learning tool. Come prepared with questions and to make!
